Sewing Machine Basics (not Embroidery)
In this class you will learn how to operate (or get a refresher course) your sewing (not embroidery) machine. It's a great way to get you back into sewing.
What to Bring to Class:
1. Sewing Machine in good working order.
2. If available bring: Sewing Machine Instructional Manual, and all accessories that come with your machine. (example: extra presser feet, power cord, foot control, machine bobbins (bobbins which came with your machine)
3. Scissors (small pair for cutting threads), also regular size fabric cutting scissors
(usually 7 to 8 inch scissors) or you can purchase a beginning sewing kit from SCI that contains
all the sewing tools you will need for future use.
4. 2 spools of thread (1 light color and one dark color)
5. 1/2 yd of fabric to practice with.
