What fabric do I need to make this Quilt?
Let’s start with the most common precut: The Fat Quarter.  A fat quarter of fabric is a 18×22 cut of fabric. 
Basically, a half yard of fabric is cut off the bolt and then that half-yard is opened up and cut into halves to make two
pieces that measure 18×22.  Below are the fabric requirements.

Quilt finished size: 74.5 x 93 inches, There are 12 - 17 inch blocks in this entire Quilt.

Fabric needed: 8.5 yards cream solid or may use a cream tone on tone 
Binding fabric requirement is counted in the 8.5 yards.
If you want your binding in another color purchase 1 (one) yard of binding fabric.
15 -20 (18" x 22") fat quarters or scraps (mostly solids, some plaids and some stripes look good in this block)
1/8 yard of a tan
6 yards of backing fabric

Notions & Supplies you need to bring to class: HAVE YOUR NAME ON YOUR ITEMS PLEASE 

1. - Rotary cutter with self-healing cutting mat.
2. - small travel iron.
3. - Rulers - The Three (3) rulers you will need are as follows:

# 1 - 6.5 x 24 inches 
# 2 - 6.5 x 6.5 inch ruler if you want more rulers you may bring
# 3 - Wing Clipper I - this is a must ruler for this class.

4. Fabric scissors, small embroidery scissors.
5. straight pins - (Make sure your pins are at least 1.5 – 2″ NO LONG PINS).
6. one (1) heat disappearing marking pen, or a water disappearing marking pen.
7. seam ripper.
8.  1/4 inch sewing foot or regular sewing foot, which ever you use to get a accurate 1/4 inch seam
9. filled bobbins 2 - 3 each class - the bobbins work best the color of the thread you are going to use and extra sewing machine needles.
10. Your purchased fabric 
11. And of course your sewing machine in good working order with your power cord.
