If you do not have the needed supplies, you may purchase Supplies @ SCI prior to class.

Rotary cutter with self-healing rotary cutting mat to use at your station.
small travel iron, We Highly recommend the creative grid rulers
2 rulers- # 1 -  6.5 inches x 24.5 inches  # 2 - can use a 2.5 in (or wider)  x 12.5 inch ruler
Fabric scissors, straight pins - (Make sure your pins are at least 1.5 – 2″ NO LONG PINS)
one heat disappearing marking pen, seam ripper, 1/4 inch sewing foot, regular sewing foot,
open toe foot, filled bobbins the color of thread you are going to use,
extra sewing machine needles, your sewing machine in good working order with power cord,
sewing machine tools and your sewing machine book - this is not a class to teach you how to
use your sewing machine 

Please do not use directional fabric

Fabric for piecing: 

Feature fabric:
36 - of the 2.5 inch strips or the option of layer cake option 36 pre cut 10 inch squares
If you choose yardage option 1/4 inch of 12 assorted colors of fabric

Background fabric - 3 yards

Binding fabric - 1/2 yard

Backing fabric - 4 yards

Where fabrics are concerned, the difference is quality which is the fabric weave.
High quality cotton starts with a superior product and is less likely to bleed when washed. 

(Pre Washing fabric is a personal preference. If you do pre wash your fabric please use color catchers and cold water.)

Thread - Highly recommended 100% cotton Thread color is your preference 
(If you choose a color of thread such as red or dark blue
this may bleed thru or show thru your beautiful quilt and you would
not want this to happen!)
