Edge to Edge Quilting with your Embroidery Machine




What to Bring:

 

o    Embroidery Machine and E-Unit in good working order.

o    At least a 6 x 10 embroidery hoop, other hoops that may be used are the 8x12 or 9x14 magnetic hoops are            great to use! (We have them here for purchase at SCI)

o    Bring the project you want to quilt (top, batting, backing) and embroidery quilting design on a memory stick

o    If you want to make 4 placemats bring 1¼ yard top fabric, backing fabric and batting. 

o    Book: “Edge to Edge Quilting on Your Embroidery Machine” by Amelie Scott (available at SCI) 10%            discount on the book with paid registration or if you have your book, an edge to edge design of your           choice stored on your memory stick.

o    Tear a Way Stabilizer to make 2 templates.

o    Thread, cotton or polyester, to coordinate with your project and 3 bobbins empty. You will fill your bobbins with coordinating thread for the backing.

o    Fabric Marking pen, small scissors, large, curved safety pins for quilting, if you are not using a magnetic bring        some double sided tape such as Res Q tape (available at SCI). Res Q tape not necessary if you are using a          magnetic hoop.
